Romeo and Juliet Extravaganza!Full-Lengths INTERACTIVE FARCE. Audience members get in on the fun in this interactive version of Romeo and Juliet as they are randomly cast as Capulets or Montagues and are prompted by two feuding narrators to cheer for their respective families. The cast first performs an abridged micro version of the original story of the two star-crossed lovers. Then the mischievous narrators create their own “Romeo and Juliet Extravaganza!” by altering major plot points in the story with “what if” questions. What if the Montagues and Capulets liked each other? What if Romeo never met Juliet? What if the Friar’s plan actually worked? What ensues is an evening of hilarious twists and turns, silly skirmishes, and outlandish outcomes. And in the end, the audience gets to vote for either a happy or tragic ending. A fast-paced, riotous romp! Freeviews: To read play excerpts click here. Please remember it is necessary to purchase one script for each cast
member and one royalty for each performance.
