“Babes in Toyland” was first produced on June 17, 1903 at the Chicago Grand Opera House and then premiered on Broadway at the Majestic Theater on October 13, 1903. “Babes in Toyland” contains many of Victor Herbert’s most famous songs like “Toyland,” “March of the Toys,” and “I Can’t Do the Sum” and has become a holiday classic.
